Last night, Mike and I were in the office on the computer. We have a daybed in it for guests. Since we don't have guests, we kinda use it as the junk pile, I know shame on us. But Benjamin also sleeps on the bed. He was so cute last night. so I had to take pictures. Then Mike and I went back to talking and we heard snoring. It was Ben. lol

???
Am I the only one that sees a conspiracy theory in the democratic party? What are they thinking about putting a Muslim (who refuses to say the pledge to the flag) in the White House?!?! Um, yeah, no thanks!

Benjamin Franklin
Ok, so Ben was sleeping and looking so cute, so I took a few pictures of him. Then when I was about to snap, he yawned...
I call this picture, "I am cat, hear me roar"

Weekend
Well, I have followed doctor's orders and have not worked this weekend. Well, ok, yesterday I put laundry away, dusted the furniture, scrubbed and cleaned the bathroom, but after that I didn't do anything else. My hubby has been taking good care of me. And I've remembered to take all my meds. So far I feel the same. Well, I've gained some of my energy back, the migraine seems to be a bit better, but it's still here. I'm hoping once the I've gone through the 5 days of meds, I'll be better. I know there is no miracle cure for migraines, I just want to get over this one.

Migraines
Ok, so I've suffered from migraines for about 4 years now. The past 3 weeks have been annoying because I've had a nonstop migraine. The weekend was the worst part. I couldn't even walk, my head hurt so bad. My mom kept telling me to see the doctor, Mike kept telling me... So, today I caved and called my neurologist. I left a message with the nurse, thinking I wouldn't hear back until tomorrow or something. She called me back within 10 minutes requesting that I come in today. So I left work earlly (yay) and went. We talked about everything and how I haven't had a "normal" day for at least 3 weeks...He gave me 4 prescriptions. Imitrex, which I will take 3 times a day, some anti inflamatory, which I will take twice a day, Lortab for the pain and the best of all no work for the next 3 days. Well, technically it's the weekend, but that means I do nothing. Which means, no church, no outings, no nothing... :o( I will only be on the meds for 5 days,he is hoping that is enough to kill the pain. After that, we'll see. I will also start physical therapy again. I like that one cause I get massages. :o) Anyways, if you can please pray for me because I really need this to go away. I've been in this "funk" where the migraines are sucking every ounce of energy I have and I haven't had any strength to do anything. I feel miserable and I want to be normal again.

Flowers
So I've had a migraine everyday for the past 2 weeks now. Some days are bearable, some are not. This weekend was the worst. I couldn't even walk. Today after work, I could feel it becoming much worse than the dull ache I already had. When I got home, I laid down for a "few" minutes and woke up an hour later; still in pain. But the migraines are draining the life out of me. I have no energy for anything. I was supposed to get groceries, but was not able to.
When I woke up from my nap, my hubby was gone. He came in a few minutes later with groceries! So sweet... And on top of that, he got me beautiful flowers. I love getting flowers. He even arranges them in a vase for me.

knit
Well, I've been knitting more than ever lately. I am helping my mom with some of her charities. I made 3 scarves to send to the homeless in Canada. And now I'm going to make rectangles to send to another charity. I'm excited that I get to use my sweet skills to help people. I'm also trying to sell some of it online on a store called etsy.com
Here's a picture of my latest scarf!

migraine woes
I've been suffering from migraines for about 4 years now. It started back in college when I was 21. At first, I had no idea what was happening. Then after I got married (2 years after the migraines started) I went to see a doctor. A few doctors after that, I found a neurologist that figured out I have migraines and tension headaches combined. Yay! Not!
So that started about 2 years of figuring out which drug works and which doesnt. Last April, we figured out that Pamelor does the trick of preventing them (most of the time) and Fiorocet is the painkiller that works to kill the pain. Well, my brilliant doctor decided last October to take me off the Pamelor "to see what happens"... Guess what happened?!?! Can you guess? Come on now... They are back! Not too bad right now, but I had one for 3 days earlier this week and today I have another one. Other than being annoying and making me feel a bit icky, I have been able to tolerate them. No meds yet. I hate taking Fiorocet, it makes me dopey. But it takes the pain away, so I don't know why I just dont take it right away. Actually I keep thinking and hoping that I can make them go away on my own, but that never happens... Instead, I just keep living with the feeling that someone has punched the right side of my face...

update
Nothing much happening in our lives. Over the Christmas break, Mike and my dad replaced our water heater. Now we have a nice new one. For other news, Mike will begin working for Fidelity next month. He did not enjoy teaching, and if he stayed he would have to work there for 3 years, so he thought it would be best to leave during his probationary period. The principal has been great about everything and very supportive. As for me, I'm counting down the days till June 5th, that's the last day of school. I love the kids, but they know exactly how to drain the life out of you. I have no energy anymore and hope that I don't have to teach anymore once this year is over.
