Cone Head

Ok, so we got Benjamin declawed about 2 weeks ago. He keeps licking his stitches and biting it, so we got him a cone. It's so funny! It's also sad...

Tylenol

So yesterday at church a migraine hit me. It wasn't so bad, but then we came home and it had progressed. I took a nap, woke up at 4 to go to Home Bible study. I could barely stand. I was in so much pain, it was hard to walk. So I stayed home and took another nap. Didn't help. Went to bed early, woke up today went to work. The pain was unbearable, so I left work at lunchtime and came home. My hubby also came home and took care of me. I finally caved and called my doc. He told me to try Tylenol. I took some and another nap and woke up so much better. I still have some pain, but it's better. I'm going to take some more before I go to to bed and pray that there are no more migraines. I was really going to try to beat it on my own, but it got to the point that it was impossible. I mean, I have never left work because of a migraine, but I just couldn't handle it. I hate the idea of taking medicine right now, I just hope it doesn't harm the baby... But I knew a migraine isn't the best thing for a baby either.. Anyways, Thank you to my wonderful hubby who is always there to take care of me!

Baby stuff

We have some friends that gave us some of their used baby items for our baby. The bouncy chair is so awesome, Benjamin liked it too. lol And then a baby tub, which Benjamin also liked...

count down

Well, there are 4 1/2 weeks left of school. Yay! Today was teacher appreciation day. It was a pretty good day. We got spoiled by our principal and my kids gave me some gifts. I got a bouquet of chocolate. How awesome! And lots of other goodies. Anyways, not much else going on. People have been asking me when we're going to find out the sex of the baby. Well, there have been some complications with that and I'm extremely upset. We were supposed to find out on June 11th, but Mike is still in training with his job until June 20th, so he can't leave the office. So, I have to wait around the week of the 23rd to find out. I have to reschedule my appt, but I am going to try to make it for June 25th. I hate waiting that long, but I'm not going without Mike. I hate waiting!

baby

So this past Wednesday we went to our second doctor's appointment. I was a little upset by the whole experience. We got there and I did the usual routine, she weighed me, and I am happy to say that since I lost weight after I got pregnant, now I am back to my prepregnancy weight. Then we went to the room and the doctor came in. He was in there for less than 5 minutes. They were all in a hurry to go home. So we got to hear the heartbeat, for about 2 seconds. I didn't even have time to let it sink in before he turned the machine off. I was so mad. Then I asked him some questions and didn't get to ask him all of the questions I had... I guess next time.
So I am debating on the type of birth to choose. I always thought I'd have a c section, not really sure why, but I always did. Then I started thinking about it and talking to veteran moms and I am leaning toward having a natural birth. Now I may change my mind about that if I have an 8 pound baby, lol... So I am still researching the pros and cons of natural birth. And I need to pray about it. The good thing is that I have 6 more months to make up my mind.. Any advice?
