Family photos

Last weekend we took some family pictures so we could send out christmas cards.  We took some family shots at a location then did some of the girls with each parent at home.  It was easier that way and the girls cooperated much better. lol  Hubby did some magic on photoshop and the pictures came out great! :)  Can't wait to send out our Christmas cards.

Park day

Life's been a bit hectic so on Sunday we kind of took it easy and spent the day as a family.  We took the girls to the park to get them out of the house.  I love the park by our house. :)

Wedding

One of my husband's best friend Justin got married this weekend.  I've known him for almost 10 years, met him through hubby. He has waited so long for his wife, so it was super special to be a part of his beautiful day.  We've met his bride a few times, but haven't gotten a chance to really get to know her.  She is so sweet and it's so clear how much she loves Justin.  I'm beyond happy for them and can't wait to see what God has for them and their marriage! A few months ago when they got engaged, they asked big sis to be a flower girl, she was thrilled and loved being in the wedding.  She even asked me if it was her wedding.  lol

Instead of a guestbook, they had all the guests hold this chalkboard with a special message and have their pictures taken.  Hubby and I, along w/ Justin are all HUGE fans of "how I met your mother".. So we wrote a line from it ;)

Halloween Party

My sweet baby girl turned 4 last weekend.  Totally bittersweet.  She requested a costume/halloween party and I had a blast planning it!  We kept it small, it was just a family party.  Here are some pictures of her big day.  BTW she said it was the best party ever :)

Happy 4th birthday!

4 years ago my world was forever changed!  I became a mom, to the most beautiful blue eyed angel.  Looking through her pictures over the years is bittersweet, it has FLOWN by!  She's becoming such a fun little girl, full of life and energy.  She loves legos, coloring, drawing, anything with animals, especially birds.  She loves playing video games, playing tag and hide and seek!
I'm so thankful for her, so thankful I get to be her mom.

I get emotional everytime I see this picture.  Such a beautiful and wonderful moment and it still seems like it was just yesterday. She was the most gorgeous baby! I still remember when hubby came with her to the recovery room.  The first thing he told me was "she has blue eyes". :)  I had prayed for a blue eyed baby, and after she turned one, her eyes changed to a hazel/green color but she still has the most beautiful eyes! :)

 Her first birthday was on a Tuesday.  All I wanted was a simple dinner w/ just family to celebrate her birthday.  That day we took her to Toys r Us and she chose a toy phone, then the park.  Then home for a nap.  Our family came over for dinner and cake.  It was exactly what I wanted and it was perfect.

 This was such an emotional birthday for me.  She just seemed so big all of a sudden.  She was so into Mickey Mouse this year, so we had a minnie party, again just family.  Then we took her on a birthday trip to Disney and had a BLAST!!! 

 My daughter LOVES Buzz and asked for a Buzz party for her 3rd birthday.  This year we had a party at a park (long story short, I will NEVER do this again), we invited family and a few friends this time.  I know baby girl had a blast! 

This was baby girl's first birthday as a big sister. :)  

Happy 4th birthday to my beautiful, energetic little girl!  I love her so much, she still continues to amaze me! 

trick or treat

For halloween my oldest wanted to be her favorite animal, a peacock.  So I made both girls peacocks and hubby and I were birdwatchers.  I think our costumes could've used some help, but I was being cheap :)
