Beach

Today was a beautiful day. Since the hubby was off, we decided that we shouldn't just stay home, we always do that. So he took us to the beach. Baby girl had a blast! She loved running in the sand and playing in the water. I took 89 pictures today, but I decided to spare you all. :)

Ponderings

Last night I lay in bed awake in my thoughts. I was thinking back through the past year or so. Back to when my little princess was born. I loved the newborn stage. Loved the tiny baby and miss it so much! It's been bittersweet to watch her grow b/c it's so fast. I can't believe she's almost 1 1/2... I have to say as much as I miss her being a tiny baby, the stage she's in now, has been my favorite. She's so fun and is learning so much. We can teach her things and she learns them so quick. I love that! I guess I just get scared b/c the older she gets, the farther she is from being a baby and closer to turning into a big girl. I don't want to live my life wishing she were still that little tiny baby. Is this normal?!?! lol It has nothing to do with wanting a baby, but wanting her to be a baby and stay this small forever. I don't even know if it makes sense. I need to focus on being thankful that I have a healthy, growing baby girl and I do look forward to being able to teach her to be a godly woman. :)

St Patrick's Day

Happy St. Pat's day!!! :) I made my little princess a dress that she got to wear to church. She has not put it on yet today, but maybe later. :) I thought it came out really cute.

new fridge

Our old fridge has been leaking and just plain awful for months... Sadly it's been more than a year. But we never replaced it until this weekend. It was exciting to finally get a new fridge. Our kitchen has a specific size hole for the fridge, so we had to get a small fridge, not what I wanted, but no complaints here, I'm just glad it's new

16 months old!

Today my darling girl is 16 months old! I can hardly believe it.
She just gets more and more fun. Here's what she's up to at 16 months:
- Wearing 18 month clothes (some 24 months)
-Size 3 diapers
-Size 4 shoes
-She knows too many words to count. :) She thinks that if she says "peas" (please) that she can get whatever she wants. lol Hearing her talk is so sweet and she is learning new words so fast.
-Loves to play with the dog and cat.
-Loves to "read" books
-Her favorite toys are: Play kitchen, doll stroller, ball popper and shape sorter blender...
-Very picky about her foods lately... She loves carbs and fruits. :)

Update

I finally got an update on Dr. Frank. This is a message from my mom:

Nancie (his wife) called, she said Dr Frank is stable
his heart went into atrial fib yesterday so they had to def him (shock) he did not flatline
just heart rate went crazy
they are taking him off some heart meds
and that messed him up a bit
so he is still in ICU
he is alert, oriented, his brain is fine
he is not eating so he is weak and due to the surgery and such he is tired which is normal
and he is 85
but docs are saying that as soon as he gets a bit stronger he will be going to a private room and rehab
