Mother's Day weekend

What an awesome weekend we had!  We celebrated with my family on Friday, inlaws on Saturday and then Sunday we just relaxed and hubby took me and the girls out to dinner and for a walk at the beach. It was so good to be together, just the 4 of us, it was baby sister's first trip to the beach and she LOVED it.  Big sis already loves the beach.  So now we have 2 beach babies.  I am so thankful for my girls, so thankful to be their mom!

I love my family of 4!

Me and my sweet baby.  She lights up my life more than I could ever dream!

My girls

I love this picture, my arms are full, my heart is even fuller. I LOVE my girls. I look back at my life and I never could've imagined how God could've blessed me this way. My girls light up my life and I am so thankful to be their mommy.

Big sis is growing into such a beautiful little lady. She keeps me busy with her nonstop talking and constant go go go attitude. She is like the little energizer bunny... lol She loves to learn! She loves her mommy, but is very much a daddy's girl. She is so independent, always has been. Lately she has shown a lot of interest in coloring and animals. She keeps asking us for a dog, but we are not ready for one yet.

Baby sis is my little cuddle bug. She loves to be in mommy's arms. She is a mama's girl and I absolutely love it. I've just started leaving her in the church nursery this past week, she's not a fan. Thankfully she doesn't scream the whole time, but someone has to be holding her the entire time. I'm sure she'll get used to it. She loves to crawl. Last week she turned 9 months, I can hardly believe it. This week we'll have her 9 month check up, so I'll get her stats. She is such a sweetie!

2 girls...

I LOVE our family. I love my girls. When my first daughter was born, I told people that I wanted 3 more girls... I'd love a house full of girls!!!! If the Lord blesses us with baby #3, I don't care what we have, boy or girl, we'll be equally ecstatic. We are not planning on #3 for a while, but the idea of another girl or a little boy is exciting. I am so sick and tired of people telling me that we "need" a boy. Or I'll hear "are you going to keep trying for a boy?" Um, no. I'm not "trying" for a boy. We are growing our family and the Lord has blessed us more than we can imagine. Why do people think that the "perfect" family needs to have one of each child? My husband and I are super happy with our little family of 4, surrounded by bows, pink, dresses and girly things... :)

ok I'm done w/ my rant now. lol
