Irony

Ok, so on Tuesday I went to Subway for lunch. I was craving it, and the school lunch was gross that day. So off I went. I got one of the "Jared" subs, the lowfat ones... It's grilled chicken breast, with swiss cheese and tomatoes... So as I am looking at their selections, they have all this low fat stuff, vegetables, and all of their condiments are lite. They mayo they put on my sub, was lite, so that's when I noticed that everything there is "healthy" stuff... Then I go to check out, grab my baked chips, and start to pay. One of the employees then proceed to tell me that Tuesdays is free cookie day and asked that I choose a cookie. Of course, I chose double chocolate chip. lol So I got my soda, went to my car and drove back to work. And as I ate my low fat sub, I began to look at my cookie and wondered. How is it that a place, one of the few fast food restaurants, that promote healthy eating habits is handing out cookies. Cookies are not low fat. Um, am I the only one that sees the irony in this? Does Jared eat the cookies??

Well, after I ate my sub I was so full. I saved my cookie for a snack for after school. Nathan comes to my room in the afternoon while he waits until 4 so we can go home (school gets out at 3, but I'm stuck there till 4)... I was not in my room for a few minutes, I was talking to a co-worker. When I went back inside, I saw Nathan taking the last bite of my cookie. The little monster ate my cookie without even asking if he could have it. I was so mad. I told him he owed me a cookie. He hasn't paid me back yet. He said he did me a favor so I don't get fat... Um, the irony in all this is that I was thinking of giving him the cookie anyways, but I didn't appreciate him taking it off my desk without giving it a thought.. How rude!

Um, now I want a double chocolate chip cookie. :o(

Going crazy

Something has been bugging me today. I went to Steinmart where they had awesome sales and got some stuff for my hubby. Well, as I checked out the guys offered me a discount card and I accepted. That brought me to remember that I got a discount card from another store about a week ago. But now I can't find the card, and for the life of me can't remember the stupid store that it was in. I remember someone was there with me, but I don't remember who was shopping with me that day. lol It's just driving me crazy. How can I not remember????

For other news, today I went to Motherhood and got some jeans. Finally I have jeans, which are actually capris. I couldn't buy pants, it's too hot in Florida for pants right now. And I got a couple of shirts today too. Well, one of them isn't maternity, but it was so cute!

Great auntie!

Auntie Viv, Uncle Jovan and cousin Owen went to Disney this past week. They had a lot of fun, but were greatly missed. They were so sweet, they bought baby Regina a present. He or She got his/her very own Mickey Mouse! I was so excited! The baby already gets presents and spoiled rotten. How awesome is that?!?! So thanks guys for spoiling the baby. He/ She appreciates it! lol
