update

I realized that I never updated anyone on S's test result. The reason is, I don't really know yet. lol I called the doctor and spoke to a nurse. First she told me the results came back normal, but then she was having trouble understanding parts of the test. The woman was pretty clueless. She told me I had to speak to the doctor about treatment or something for Story... So I asked for the doctor to call me back and haven't heard from them.. I'm not as worried anymore because for the past 2-3 weeks Story has been pretty regular. She started eating baby food and it has helped SO much! She loves sweet potatoes and every fruit. :) She doesn't like peas. So that's where we are right now. Her poopies are really more regular since the food. So we are very excited here!!! Thanks everyone for your prayers. I will let you know once I talk to the doctor.

Yardwork

This past week we've done some work on our yard. My dad came over and helped Mike till our yard and plant some grass seeds.. Mike and I also planted some seeds to create a flower garden. And we got a topsy turvy so we can grow our own tomatoes. We're very excited. Now we're just hoping our seeds grow!!!
My flower bed...

Our topsy turvy- I can't wait to see tomatoes grow
My dad thought it was fun to play with the tiller
Mike "plays".... I don't think Mike had any fun.

Easter

M and I are so thankful to celebrate our first Easter with our S. We can't believe how fast she's growing, with each passing day we love her more and more...
Here's a picture of our family at Easter. S wore a blue smock dress to church, but alas, due to drool and spit up, I had to change her. lol

S update

I wanted to wait until I had the test results, but figured I should update everyone on S's test. The test went well. She did a great job, but screamed the whole time. If you could see what they did to the poor thing, she did very well for someone so little... Thankfully they let me be in the room with her, M waited in the waiting area. We both wanted to go in, but they only allowed one parent. My sweet hubby knew it was important that I be with my sweet girl. I couldn't get a "read" from the doctors and techs on how the test went, so I have to wait a few days for the result. I will let everyone know as soon as I do. Thank you so much for your prayers! Please keep her in your prayers, as she still won't poopies normally... Thank you so much!!!!

Prayer Request

This is my 3rd post today, and the most important..
I have written several notes telling you all that S has had issues going poopies. Well, it hasn't improved, so tomorrow is the day of her test. She's having a barium enema. They need to look in her bowels and see if everything is all right. So of course, after ignoring the fact that something could be wrong with my child for a while, I can no longer put it aside. I am freaking out. I know She's in God's hand. But as a mother, I have started to think the worst. I can't let myself do that. I already had a meltdown when I started thinking about all that could be wrong with her, which could be nothing at all... So I ask first of all that everyone pray for the test tomorrow and that things come out normal. And also that S will be ok during the test... And lastly, that M and I can have a peace of mind until we know the results... I can't stress out about it, and yet I can't stop worrying...

Thanks everyone!

New projects...

I have recently taken up sewing. I'm still very new at it, but really enjoy it!
I made S a pillowcase dress, with a matching bow of course... Plus, I made her some shoes... I still need lots of practice, but I'm pretty proud with my finished product. I read the shoes pattern and figured it out all by myself! I will definetly be making more shoes, gotta keep practicing!!!! :o)

5 months old!

Yesterday my baby turned 5 months. It is so amazing to watch her grow and learn new things. She has brought so much joy to our lives. Unfortunately, yesterday she did not have a good day. There were about 4 dramatic meltdowns in this house with screams, tears, sobs, the works. So I was only able to take a few pictures. We believe S is teething and yesterday just wasn't a good day for her. But she had a great night and so far today has been a good day.

Our trip

This week M and I took S to Orlando for our first family trip... We just hung out at different Resorts and visited Downtown Disney. It was relaxing and so much fun. M bought S a Nemo, she just loves it! Overall she did really well being away from home. But the only way she took naps, was being cuddled with mommy. i didn't mind. :o) We had so much fun and can't wait to take her to Magic Kingdom!!! There are so many pictures, but I just chose a few of my favorites to put on here!
