Talkative

Baby girl has been so talkative. She repeats Everything we say! She LOVES to read. She'll bring me a book and say "bookabook" and then say "up" so I can put her on my lap and I read to her. It's so sweet! She has a favorite sesame street book about bubbles, and there's a part that says "bubbles go pop pop pop..." So she repeats pop pop.. :) So sweet! She also learned the word "duck" during bath time as she was playing w/ her rubber duck. She has between 10-15 words she says. Her favorite word is "daddy". :)
She loves to cuddle with mommy all day long and play. But when daddy's car pulls into the driveaway, the world stops. She runs to the back door screaming and waits for him. She won't stop screaming until daddy picks her up. One of the first things daddy does when he comes home is walk the dog (mommy won't walk him) and he usually has to take baby girl along b/c she flips if she doesn't have her daddy. She follows him around until bedtime. It's so sweet!

We had her 15 month check up yesterday and she is now 23 lbs (50%) and 32 1/4 inches tall (90%). She is SO tall.. It's so crazy b/c I'm so short! lol She's got the longest legs and I love it! :) Of course, buying pants is difficult b/c 12 months is too short but fits perfect on her waist. 18 months is too long and too big on her waist. :) So we stick to dresses, and I don't mind. I love dresses!

That's about it for news here. We are so in love with our daughter and still so thankful to be her parents.

toys..

My girl is growing so fast. Her favorite toys are a blender and her play kitchen. :)
And she loves being in mommy's kitchen and "helping" me. I've been letting her play w/ my pots and pans and she loves it. She loves the kitchen!

I never would have bought her this, but a friend had it and she fell in love with it. The best purchase I ever made! She loves it and it provides hours of entertainment. :) I love it too! I would so recommend this to anyone w/ a girl.

This is a great toy, she has learned so quick to sort the shapes. She walks around the house asking daddy and mommy to help her. She says "shh" for shapes. lol

my lack of pictures

All right, I have recently realized that when you first have a baby, you take hundreds of pictures. At least I did. lol BUT I don't anymore. It's sad.. I know. lol There are about 6 pictures in her album for this month. So I need to take more! Yikes! :)

forgetful

I keep forgetting about this blog. lol I like blogging, but I am so paranoid about ppl looking at my pictures I made this blog private. But now it's been neglected... I honestly dont' like it private b/c I forget all about it. lol BUT I am not even sure if blogging is worth it anymore...
I'll put it back out to the public, I keep changing my mind a lot... lol

Anyways for news in our house, our princess is learning so quickly! She now has 3 new words to her vocabulary. She says "dog". She is in love w/ our cat, she now says "kitty cat". It's so cute! And she had the habit of pulling my clothes and screaming for me to pick her up, so I taught her the word "up". So anytime she wants to be picked up, she has to say "up". It's so amazing to see how fast she learns.

She is in love with cats. Our cat, Benjamin Franklin, gets chased around the house all the time and she just laughs and giggles and it's adorable! She has a baby einstein book with pictures of animals, always opens it to the page of the cat and says "cat".. It's great! :)

nothing much happening

There hasn't been much going on in our home. Hubby has started training as part of his promotion in his job. He is working regular hours this month, which is very rare for him. lol It's nice to have him home for dinner. We've started sitting at the table as a family and having family meals. It's so nice! I've been cooking more meals. I love cooking! When he worked nights, there was no point for me to cook nice dinners. Now I get to plan some nice meals for us. Last night we had stew, love it! I gotta plan something yummy for today.
Baby girl is growing fast. She's now 14 months old. I can hardly believe it. I was looking thru my harddrive, when she was first born, there are hundreds of pictures. As she grew, the pictures became less and less. BUT up till 12 months, there were still many pictures taken each month. Now, from 12-14 months, I don't think we have 50 pictures. I've gotten so bad at taking her pictures, not sure why... I've been wanting to take some for the past week, but she has bruises on her little face from falling, and I don't want a picture of that. lol

Private

I've decided to make this blog private. If you are reading this, then you are the select few that I figured would still want to read the blog :) I have made this private for several reasons.. I know it's more of a pain to read the private blogs, but it's a way to make me feel safer about posting pictures on here. I mainly just want to keep this us as a diary/ journal for later years... :)
